学术报告: Dynamics of balancing selected systems - implications from the Major Histocompatibility Complex in humans
We explore evolutionary scenarios, especially parameter spaces that are compatible with patterns of diversity within population and divergence between species at the Major Histocompatibility Loci in Humans.
Genetic information suggests a much larger effective population size in the ancestral human population. We also develop a priliminary model describing allelic frequencies across populations under a branching population history.
