周琪，博士，研究员，中国科学院院士，发展中国家科学院院士。现任中国科学院副院长、党组成员，兼任中国科学院大学党委书记、校长。曾任国家863计划、973计划、重大科学研究计划、国家自然科学基金创新研究群体项目负责人，中国科学院干细胞领域战略性先导科技专项（A类）首席科学家。在动物克隆、干细胞发育全能性及调控机制、新型干细胞系创建、哺乳动物生殖新技术、细胞命运决定、干细胞资源库建立、干细胞临床应用研究等方面取得多个系列原创性成果。研究成果多次入选国内、国际年度科技进展。获得国家自然科学奖二等奖、中国科学院杰出科技成就奖、周光召基金会杰出青年基础科学奖、何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖、genOway国际转基因技术奖、发展中国家科学院生物学奖等科技奖励。
