Dr. Marcel Dicke is the professor of Entomology and Head of Laboratory of Entomology, Wageningen University. His research fields are: Ecogenomics; Chemical ecology; Behavioural Ecology; Multitrophic Interactions; Signal transduction; Induced resistance; Biological control; Host-plant resistance. He has published more than two hundred scientific papers on Science, PNAS, Journal of Chemical Ecology, Oecologia, etc. He received the Netherlands Zoology Prize (1992), the Belgacom Prize (Royal Belgian Academy of Sciences, 1996) and NWO-Vici grant (2002).
