刘峰,男,博士,中国科学院动物研究所研究员,博士生导师,“国家杰出青年科学基金”获得者(2014年)、中华人民共和国科学技术部“中青年科技创新领军人才”(2015年)、中华人民共和国国务院“政府特殊津贴”获得者(2016年),“谈家桢生命科学创新奖”获得者(2018年),朱李月华优秀教师奖(2014),中科院优秀指导教师(2020),中科院优秀导师(2022)。
1999年在中国科学院遗传所获分子遗传学博士学位。2000-2002在新加坡分子农业生物学研究院 (现IMCB)做博士后,开始利用斑马鱼模型从事造血系统的发育生物学研究;2003-2005在美国Vanderbilt 大学医学院从事斑马鱼血管生物学研究;2006-2008在英国牛津大学分子医学研究所(WIMM)利用斑马鱼和非洲爪蟾从事造血干细胞的基础研究。刘峰博士首次建立了斑马鱼cDNA芯片并成功应用于筛选早期发育特异性的基因;其中Lysozyme C已成为斑马鱼髓系细胞最常用的分子标记之一;在牛津大学的工作集中在斑马鱼造血干细胞的起源、心血管发育和分子调控网络的研究,系统阐明了斑马鱼基因组中整个ETS转录因子家族、各个成员的时空表达图谱,并进一步发现Fli1是调控血液和内皮细胞发育分化的主控基因,并和Erg协同调节血管生成(Angiogenesis),Etsrp既调控内皮细胞分化又控制髓细胞的发育。2009年在膜生物学国家重点实验室建立血液和心血管发育研究组,围绕“造血组织及血细胞发育调控”开展系统性研究工作,以通讯作者在国际知名期刊发表多篇有影响力的学术论文,包括:Nature、Dev Cell、EMBO J、PNAS、J Exp Med、Blood、Nat Commun、Cell Res、和Development等。与此同时,刘峰博士还担任国际斑马鱼学会执行委员、中国动物学会斑马鱼分会主任委员、发育生物学专业委员会副主任委员兼任秘书长以及中国细胞生物学学会细胞信号转导分会副会长等社会职务。
