简历介绍:

中国科学院动物研究所研究员,中国科学院大学存济医学院教授。

(学习和工作经历)1998年就读兰州大学生物基地班,2002年获生物学学士学位,2007年于中国科学院生物物理研究所获理学博士学位,并分别于美国Sanford-Burnham医学研究所以及美国Salk生物研究所作为博士后与Research Associate开展研究工作,2014年获中组部青年千人计划项目(A类)资助,2015年获国家自然科学基金委优秀青年科学基金项目资助,2021年获国家自然科学基金委杰出青年科学基金项目资助,作为项目负责人主持了国家“主动健康与老龄化科技应对”重点研发计划“灵长类增龄性相关健康状态减损的生物学基础”项目,国家自然科学基金委重大研究计划“器官衰老与器官退行性变化的机制”重点支持项目,以及中科院“王宽诚率先人才计划——卢嘉锡国际团队衰老与再生调控团队”,作为核心骨干成员参与国家自然科学基金委“衰老的机制及调控”创新群体项目。

(科研工作)聚焦“细胞衰老与再生”方向,通过系统关联衰老细胞的体内外表征与诱因,全新发展了体内检测与干预衰老细胞的新策略,为多器官衰老及衰老相关疾病提供了新型干预手段。一方面,致力于系统描绘机体多器官的衰老细胞图谱,刻画体内衰老细胞的特征,包括核周异染色质失稳相关谱系发育特异基因以及多种重复元件异常表达,内源逆转录病毒异常激活等。这些特征为体内衰老细胞的检测与靶向提供了新的策略。另一方面,分别在表观调控,信号通路,以及代谢水平发现新型干细胞衰老的更生因子, 并通过原位或静脉输注基因治疗载体,“增强型”干细胞以及“衰老干预”小分子,在动物水平实现了健康寿命的延长,包括关节软骨原位再生,多器官受损血管再生,肝脏代谢能力提高,心脏功能年轻化等。

(论文发表与引用情况)以通讯和第一(包括共同)作者共发表 Cell(3篇),Nature(3篇),Science 等在内 SCI 论文113篇,其中多篇被高水平研究工作引用和借鉴,包括被F1000收录并高度评价。部分代表性研究成果入选中国生命科学十大进展,中国科学十大进展,ESI高被引文章,“国家十三五科技创新成就展”基础研究重大成果等。相关研究工作申请专利77项(包括PCT 4项),获授权33项(包括 PCT 专利2项),H指数53,文章引用10,770次。诺奖得主山中伸弥评价细胞衰老研究体系的论文:“成功用于建立迟发性疾病的模型”;美国耶鲁药学院Kutluk Oktay教授推荐卵巢衰老研究工作为“结合技术与概念创新的高水平研究工作,为卵巢衰老的临床干预指明了应对活性氧应激这一治疗方向,是非常有价值的卵巢研究资源。”;新加坡国立大学Brian Kennedy教授评价在体检测衰老细胞的技术,“实现对核仁区rDNA的活细胞成像是一项里程碑式的工作;作为基因组不稳定性的重要诱因,rDNA拷贝数的减少可能是真核生物衰老的驱动力之一”;美国洛克菲勒大学Vera Gerbunova教授在Cell发表leading edge review肯定了细胞衰老机制研究方面的工作,指出“Progerin可能破坏NRF2和SIRT6之间形成的蛋白复合物,进一步抑制NRF2通路的功能;增加的活性氧和SIRT6的失活可导致异染色质的减少,进而驱动细胞的衰老。” ;GEN(Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News)评价在衰老干预方面的工作为:“该研究从概念上证明了通过导入干细胞‘年轻因子’治疗骨关节炎的可行性,为衰老相关疾病的干预提供了全新的解决方案,在老年医学和再生医学中具有广阔的应用前景。”。 研究工作受到国内外学术界以及工业界的广泛关注,应邀在CSHL、ISSCR等重要国际学术会议报告数十次,受到Nature index, 路透社等国外媒体的专题约访。

(科普情况)参加中国科协学术资源科普化项目科学脱口秀节目《理性派对——新科技发布厅》第三季《克服衰老,还有多远》专题,为大众提供了健康衰老的科学指导,长期参与中国科协科学与影视融合项目,并在西藏,北京等国内多所城市中小学校内开展科普工作,参与创立了我国首个以“衰老科学”为主题的科普公众号——“老顽童说”,发表多篇原创科普文章。
